The Trostyanets community is the flagship of decentralization and local self-government reform in Ukraine. The Trostyanets community was one of the first objects of the Russian invasion on the morning of the 24th of February. The community was occupied from the first day of the war. The Ukrainian army managed to defeat the enemy only a month later.
